Conte already has Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, but he decided to boost his attack with another big name – Richarlison. The Brazilian international arrived from Everton and he could become the next big star for Tottenham. Ivan Perisic and Clement Lenglet also joined the club while Brighton & Hove Albion’s Yves Bissouma boosted the midfield. Things are looking good for Tottenham. Southampton will have to do what they already did in the last few years with Ralph Hassenhuttl – survive. The Austrian manager found the right approach to his players and so far he’s doing a perfect job. But every season is different and he knows that.
On the market Southampton did some business already. The Saints signed two players from Manchester City’s Academy – the goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu and the defensive midfielder Romeo Lavia. At the same time they also acquired the services of Bordeaux’s Sekou Mara and Bochum’s Armel Bella-Kotchap.
